As part of my job application process for Zeitspace, I got to complete a UX design challenge based on a similar project they completed for a client. My challenge was design a mobile app that helps a user align a satellite dish in the direction of a communications satellite with a time frame of five hours. I began by researching the process of installing satellites and the issues people faced in the process. From there I created a user story map and drew low fidelity wireframe of the mobile application where I iterated on the flow and features that could be added to streamline the process, and improve the interface. From there I had a strong foundation to design the high fidelity prototype of the app screen workflows. Once the prototype was completed, I conducted some user testing and made some tweaks to the flow before present to the Zeitspace team.
